Life of an Angel

 Once upon a time, there was an Angel who was born on May 18, 2008. Everyone in the her life love her so much, they would give everything to her as much as they can so she will be happy and give her the best life. She has a lot of circle of friends, I mean, she has friends in her baranggay, elementary friends, and high school friends. Angel loves to shopping, her favorite color is Pink. She has mama, papa, mommy, and nanay who takes care of her. Growing up, her mama had to go abroad to give her a best so she lived with her mommy so there’s still someone who will take care of her, that’s when she was only 8 years old. 

When she became 9, the world she grew up in is expanding, she met a lot of friends, classmates, and even enemies. Back in her elementary days, Angel didn’t really take school seriously, I mean she’s not that smart, and always passing projects and assignments, she is just a ordinary student. Angel and her classmates would play around the field, even if it’s raining. They would play volleyball during recess time and after class in the afternoon, go home late after joyride and stroll around city proper and play in their classrooms.

But the world seems too harsh for everyone, the lockdown happened and all the people can’t go out, the malls were closed and the students couldn’t go to school. But, she never got bored, Angel and her baranggay friends would go out or hang out in their houses to play online games such as Roblox, Ml, Call of duty, and Etc until midnight, they would cock pancit canton, laugh, talk, and share stories until 2am and they would wake up 6 in the morning just to bike around city and she believed that those moments were one of the best stories she could share in this life time. 

Around February 2022, she and her family went to Manila because there’s someone who died, she enjoyed Manila so much, she went to Moa, ride those extreme rides, went to baclaran and devisoria to shopping, and other tourist spots. And when she became 14 years old, she wishes to celebrate her birthday in Manila, so they went back, she is with her mommy, little sister, and cousin and they went to Star city, rides vikings and other rides that could be cause of their death haha, went to Ateneo, intramuros, and etc. 

When everything was slowly turning into new normal, the face to face happened, she was scared because she forgot how to communicate, scared maybe because she might have no friends, and scared because she might don’t understand the lessons. But she taught herself that if she will let her fears destroy her dreams, what will be happen to her? So, she packed her things and faced her fears. Guess what? It turns out that those school days were one of the days that will fill her teenage life, she met a lot of friends, she is always included, and she is leading and learning. She and her classmates would hang out after class, go to karaoke to sing, dance, and scream, hang out with their mini room(which is they called Boarding house) help each other if one of them didn’t understand the lesson, every groupings they are together, and would go home late because they went to the malls and other places. She’s a planner of their group, she organized all the activities, the cost, and everything, she’s known as the type of person who’s living with a motto “you only live once” also known as naughty, funny, always complaining, and always irritated. And when she became grade 10, they are still classmates, and they became inseparable, they learned how to put makeups, how to dress well, and really enjoy like there’s no tomorrow. After class, they would go to the beach since it’s half day, go to Guimaras to outing and hang out everywhere and anywhere. Staycation in the condominium and live like a family for a day. 

After moving up, she wishes to celebrate it in Manila again, Manila is always have special place in her heart. She amazed how people in Manila are busy with their own business, I mean, nobody cares about her clothes, the way she dress and the way she acts. People there are always looking for money to survive, she believes that it’s really a city of survival.

She believes that life in Manila is tiring yet healing. Her mama and papa granted her wish and those moments were the best moments she had in her life. She went to Enchanted kingdom with her two cousins, they rode together such as, roller coaster, ekstreme tower, vikings and etc. She shopped and bought whatever she wanted.

After summer, it’s time to go back to school. However, Angel needed to explore, she need to experience other world so she wouldn’t be surprised to encounter this and that kind of people. Angel transferred to another school without her best friends and she’s now in ABM strand which is Accountancy, business, and management at willingness to have businesses someday because she believes that it’s good that she’s the one who manage her time, she doesn’t have boss to follow because she’s always complaining, and of course, easy money. And now, she’s living independently and trying her best to survive and live her life the fullest. The good thing is that they still communicate and hang out with her friends, but of course, sometimes the schedules don’t match so maybe once in a month only. 

10 years from now, I could see Angel living in Manila and Iloilo, travel around the world, have businesses, and she’s still friends with her best friends. Angel is hoping that she’ll still be friends with them until she can no longer eat pork, she is still friends with them until she can no longer have shiny hair rather have white hair and no longer hear words. She wish and hope that her families will still alive and healthy so they can experience the life they deserve. So, Angel, as yourself, I advise you that no matter what happens, always remember if you got tired, think why you started. You must give your family the life they are giving you, love them until your last breath and take care of them until you can’t able to walk and work. Always communicate to your friends, don’t let your ego and bad attitude ruin your good relationships with them. Work hard and study hard so you can get that degree, have that business and money. However, you must always remember too that you only live once, so don’t be too hard on yourself, don’t take life seriously that you only worry about future, just go with the flow and I always remember, I’m always proud of your achievements and I will love all the version of Angel, whoever you are.
